Mark Godwin, Chartered Surveyor
In the last twelve months he has carried out home surveys of period farmhouses, cob cottages, early timber framed houses, numerous thatched properties as well as more contemporary modern estate houses, bungalows and flats. His work has taken him from North Somerset to Portland: Axminster to Yeovil covering a variety of work but concentrating mainly on Building Surveys and RICS Homebuyer reports, advising Clients over the condition of the properties that they are intending to buy.
Mark offers a highly professional service and understanding the Client's needs is a paramount concern with great emphasis placed on clarity of reporting with use of photographs where possible to highlight the matters raised in the report to give the Clients a clear understanding of the items being described. The service is designed to offer purchasers property surveys and property valuations and is completely independent.
Local knowledge is of tremendous value when considering geographical matters such as soil type, landslip, flooding and radon. Local knowledge is also extremely important when considering property values as no one factor has a higher impact on value than location.
Mark lives in North Dorset with his partner Carole and their dog Maisie.
